Open to all Nia Graduates
This is an opportunity to learn the framework choreography of Nia Routines. You will learn the "Big Picture Nia Basics" of the routine, embody the Nia choreography, music & magical story of each song and practice teaching it. Bar Sheets and take home notes provided. When you leave you will be equipped to start teaching the routine.

Join us each month for a splish splash of Nia! Black Belt Instructors Anne Burnell and Jamie Klausing will be offering this monthly community class as a special opportunity to experience the joy, fun, and spirit of Nia.

Join Jamie Klausing, Black Belt NGT Trainer, for this unique Nia “DLE” continuing education experience open to and designed for all Intensive Graduates and Teachers from any belt level.
This “DLE” will REJUVENATE, INVIGORATE and REVIVE your existing routines by taking you to new levels of understanding and applying Nia choreography using the design, language and notation of Nia.

The Nia Green Belt Training
Focus: The craft of teaching Nia | Intent: To effectively deliver the Nia experience
Honing teaching skills and working with the 13 principles of the White Belt. In general the Nia Education Program can be divided into five competency areas: Anatomy, Music, Movement, Methodology and Philosophy. In the Green Belt, students will go through a 5-day intensive program that takes all of the 13 White Belt Principles through the framework of the five competency areas specifically to develop teaching skills. In addition to the competency areas, students will continue to perfect their skill at modeling and working with the 52 Moves and demonstrating the moves for different fitness levels. Students will work with the Nia's 5 Sensations of Fitness: Flexibility, Mobility, Strength, Agility and Stability to deliver the Nia Experience that promises physical fitness through seeking pleasure in the body.
